Unseth Retirement

Updated: Mar 26

Hi Pastor Win, Jane, and Trinity Missions Committee--

Greetings from Dallas!

You may remember that we had to leave Ethiopia in 1995 due to Pete's health, and that same issue has been more challenging to manage over the last couple of years.

So, we're planning to retire from Wycliffe on August 31, 2025, and at that point our ministry account will be closed.  Please note this date so that no support is sent to Wycliffe for us after August.

You folks there at Trinity have been so faithful in giving, praying and encouraging over MANY years.  You have helped us do groundwork for the Majang (Ethiopia) New Testament (dedicated in 2017), and more recently have helped us teach and mentor hundreds of young people who are even now crossing language and cultural barriers with the Gospel.

Any letters you get thanking you for all you've done just aren't adequate.  It's truly more than words can say.

We hope to volunteer some at Dallas International University (Pete teaching a class or two a year and Carole doing Interlibrary Loan) but our official connection with Wycliffe will end on August 31.

With gratitude and appreciation for the privilege of being part of Trinity's outreach around the world, and with lots of love--

Carole, and Pete Unseth
